6月9日至13日，以藝術家黃心健為首的訪問學者團隊，前往阿聯酋高等技術學院（Higher Colleges of Technology, HCT）展開交流行程，深入探討數位藝術與沉浸式敘事的實作經驗，並拓展雙方在教育與創作上的合作可能。
訪問期間，藝術家獲「應用媒體學院（Faculty of Applied Media）」院長Dr.Rachel Bentley邀請，向校內師生分享XR創作歷程與數位敘事的實踐方法，透過實例講解與現場互動，開啟從視覺語言到技術應用的跨領域對話，展現HCT在新媒體教育上的實力與潛力。
創立於1988年的HCT，是中東地區最具規模與影響力的高等教育體系之一，總計擁有超過16個校區。該校長期推動應用導向的學習模式與國際合作，並在工程、科技、媒體、健康照護等領域建構高度整合的教學體系。近年來更積極投入數位轉型與未來技能教育，設立創新中心與實驗基地，成為國際數位藝術與創作實踐的重要交流節點。
本次行程亦實地參訪多項教學設施，包括多媒體與剪輯教室、綠幕攝影棚與實境導播設備、廣播錄音與影音後製空間、以及創新實驗室等，深入觀察校方如何整合未來載具與沉浸媒體進行人才培育。
本次交流為後續國際合作奠定基礎，雙方亦將持續推動跨文化數位藝術教育與創作實驗，打造連結亞洲地區的學術與創作的創新平台，讓新媒體藝術在科技發展中持續延展、發聲，走向更多可能。

In the United Arab Emirates—a nation where deserts and skyscrapers coexist—technology and culture continue to intersect across an expansive horizon. Its forward-thinking educational framework and highly digitized environment have positioned the region as a key site for discourse on contemporary art and future-oriented creative practices.
From June 9 to 13, a delegation led by artist Hsin-Chien Huang visited the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) to engage in a series of academic exchanges. The visit aimed to deepen discussions on digital art and immersive storytelling while exploring collaborative opportunities between creative and educational sectors.
Invited by Dr. Rachel Bentley, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Media, the visiting artist delivered a lecture to HCT faculty and students, sharing insights on extended reality (XR) production and the methodologies of digital storytelling. Through case studies and interactive dialogue, the event fostered a cross-disciplinary conversation—bridging visual language and technological application—and reflected HCT’s growing potential in new media education.

The visit included guided tours of various academic facilities, such as multimedia editing suites, green screen production studios, live broadcasting systems, audio recording and post-production labs, and immersive media innovation centers. These site visits offered firsthand insight into HCT’s integrated approach to media education and the deployment of future-forward creative technologies.
This academic exchange lays the groundwork for ongoing collaboration. Both parties expressed commitment to fostering cross-cultural educational and creative experiments in digital art, envisioning an innovative platform linking Asia and the Middle East. As technology continues to evolve, such partnerships ensure that new media art will not only adapt but actively contribute to the shaping of future cultural landscapes.
