The Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA) is showing a total of more than 80 works including “Samsara” and “Childhood Revisited” at the Taiwan Pavilion of the Toronto International Film Festival this year in support of Taiwanese new media art creation.

The Toronto International Film Festival will once again be an actual physical exhibition this year and will last a total of 11 days, September 8-18. In order to increase the exposure of Taiwanese works to the international market, the TAICCA is showing the works at the Taiwan Pavilion as well as offering them in an online catalog. A total of 80 works will be shown at the pavilion for the benefit of the public and members of the film industry. Hsin-Chien Huang’s works “Samsara” and “Childhood Revisited” will also be shown at the Taiwan Pavilion in order to help pave the way for Taiwan’s new media creators to enter the international market.

The Toronto International Film Festival was held for the first time in 1976. In its early days, it mainly screened works from other film festivals. In eclectic fashion, the exhibition did not have a jury, and its most prestigious award was decided by the audience.
