Not long after exhibiting at the World Festival of Animated Film Zagreb, Hsin-Chien Huang’s work “Samsara” will be returning to Eastern Europe to participate in the BLON Animation and Games Festival in Lithuania. It will be exhibited in the seaport city of Klaipėda from September 8th to 11th.

Lithuania is not only popular for its rum, a hot topic in February of this year, but it also deserves attention for its promotion of virtual reality. At this year’s BLON Animation and Games Festival, “BLON VR” is expected to exhibit 10 VR creations, one of which is Huang’s work “Samsara”. Through the immersive experience, audiences can reimagine travel through space and time and think about the possibilities of human life.

The BLON Animation and Games Festival was first held in 2015, and initially sought to attract members of the comic, animation and video game industries and focused on promoting the development of children’s animation. In 2017, the festival began to also discuss VR-related content, and in 2018 VR works became one of the festival’s featured categories.
